Taylor IP obtains patents for U.S. and foreign clients pertaining to many different technologies.  Below are some patents that have been prepared and/or prosecuted by Taylor IP and recently issued by the U.S. Patent Office

Patents recently issued for clients of Taylor IP:

U.S. Patent No. 9,480,208, entitled “Offsite irrigation controller”, issued on November 1, 2016, is directed to a center pivot irrigation system including a framework, a fluid conduit supported by the framework, a plurality of fluid-emitting nozzles associated with the fluid conduit, and a central control panel. Further, the irrigation system has an offsite irrigation controller, including a fluid-pressure sensor for sensing the fluid pressure inside the fluid conduit and a digital compass for monitoring the orientation of the irrigation system as it rotates about the center pivot axis. The offsite irrigation controller also includes a remote transmitter for communicating to an offsite receiver and an electrical processing circuit coupled with the fluid-pressure sensor, the digital compass, and the remote transmitter. The electrical processing circuit receives an output signal from each of the fluid-pressure sensor and the digital compass, and controls the remote transmitter to transmit the operational status of the irrigation system to an offsite user.

U.S. Patent No. 9,486,551, entitled “Air freshener system”, issued on November 8, 2016, is directed to an air freshener system includes a roll paper assembly and an air freshener assembly coupled with the roll paper assembly. The air freshener assembly includes an integrated air freshener element in the form of a single, continuous gel component.

U.S. Patent No. 9,506,216, entitled “Water body cleaner with selective sediment dredging head”, issued on November 29, 2016, is directed to a method and apparatus for selectively removing fine sediments from a water body bottom using a dredging head with one or more intake openings situated to accelerate flows through the interior of the head and across the water body bottom causing fine particles to become suspended in a slurry outflowing from the head for disposal, while coarser, heavier, bottom gravels remain in place. The stream cleaner dredging head includes a main body having at least one intake, at least one plate attachment feature, a discharge point, and an at least partly open bottom; a flow-adjusting plate that is adjustably connected to the at least one plate attachment feature and configured to adjust a fluid flow through the main body from the at least one intake, and a hose attachment connected to the discharge point of the main body.

Please note that not all patents which have been prepared by Taylor IP actually issue with Taylor IP being listed as the responsible law firm/attorneys.  For example, some of the larger companies that are represented by Taylor IP prefer to list their inhouse personnel as the responsible legal professionals for their issued patents.  Thus, many patents that are prepared and/or prosecuted by Taylor IP do not appear with our name on the face of the patent.

Taylor IP has several patent attorneys with diverse and strong technical backgrounds.  Each patent attorney at Taylor IP has a specific technical background and a law degree, and most have industry experience in their respective technical field.  For example, our patent attorneys have technical backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering and chemical engineering.  We represent some of the largest and most technologically advanced companies in the world, as well as mid-sized companies, small companies and individuals.  We receive patent work directly from US and foreign companies, through foreign patent law firms and attorneys representing foreign companies, through US domestic law firms and attorneys representing companies and individuals, and directly from individuals desiring to protect their inventions.
