Patents recently issued for clients of Taylor IP:
U.S. Patent No. 9,599,821, entitled “Virtual reality system allowing immersion in virtual space to consist with actual movement in actual space”, issued on March 21, 2017, is directed to a virtual reality system includes a playground defined within a real world space to have a predetermined area in which a user is movable, a head mounted device surrounds both eyes displaying an image of a virtual space formed corresponding to real objects in the playground, a sensor attached to a predetermined location in the playground, the head mounted device or body of the user sensing an actual location or motion of the user in the playground. A control unit calculates a location and direction of the user in the playground according to a signal from the sensor, and displays an image on the head mounted device of the virtual space, observed at the location and in the facing direction of the user. When the user wearing the head mounted device actually moves in the playground, a feeling of moving in the virtual space is given to the user.
U.S. Patent No. D782,074, entitled “Gate rail support block”, issued on March 21, 2017, is directed to the ornamental design for a gate rail support block, as shown and described.
U.S. Patent No. 9,603,604, entitled “Orthopaedic cutting block”, issued on March 28, 2017, is directed to a bone cutting block includes: a plurality of saw slot plates each including a plurality of ends opposing one another, each of the plurality of ends including a locating feature, the plurality of saw slot plates defining at least one slot therebetween which is configured for receiving a bone saw blade therethrough to make a predefined cut in a bone; and two side plates opposing one another, including a plurality of locating features, and supporting the plurality of saw slot plates, each locating feature of the plurality of saw slot plates being connected with a respective one of the plurality of locating features of the side plates.
U.S. Patent No. 9,603,640, entitled “Lower extremity fusion devices and methods ”, issued on March 28, 2017, is directed to a fusion implant and fusion members for fusing target fusion bones of a lower extremity. The fusion implant including internally threaded apertures of a first thread lead, and fusion members including threading of the first thread lead and threading of a second thread lead that is less than the first thread lead. The fusion implant and a targeting instrument being configured to couple to one another in a predefined orientation. The predetermined orientation resulting in alignment of aspects of the fusion implant with aspects of the targeting instrument. The targeting instrument providing both distraction and compression to the joint between the target fusion bones. A guide instrument for preparing one of the target fusion bones for fusion thereof. A surgical method for applying compression to the joint between the target fusion bones to facilitate fusion thereof utilizing a fusion implant, fusion members, a targeting instrument and a guide instrument.
U.S. Patent No. 9,605,761, entitled “Seal assembly ”, issued on March 28, 2017, is directed to a seal assembly for sealing at least one negative or positive pressure zone which adjoins a surface which is perforated and moves in a movement direction in a machine for making paper, tissue or cardboard, has at least one sealing element which lies opposite the moving surface and is arranged in a receptacle which can be moved to change the format of the negative or positive pressure zone. In order to simplify the adjustability of the receptacle in order to position the sealing element, there is a signal transmitter which is connected directly or indirectly to the sealing element and the signal of which can be received on that side of the moving surface which faces away from the sealing element.
